Rag Doll Standing Forward Bend (Uttanasana)


  • Calms the brain and helps to reduce stress and anxiety
  • Lengthens the hamstrings, calves, hips
  • Stimulates the liver and kidneys
  • Relieves headaches and insomnia

1) Start in standing or Mountain Pose and place your hands on your hips

2) Draw your lower belly in to protect your back with a micro bend in your knees hinge forward from your hips.

3) Catch opposite elbows and let your neck be loose and long

4) Hold pose for 3-5 rounds of breath
